Upon entering this charming restaurant located inside the El Cortez Casino we were greeted by a very nice hostess who took us to our table. The decor was cool with old pictures from the days of the mob! Our waitress was amazing, she took excellent care of us. We ordered the steak and eggs, the baked chicken which smelled absolutely heavenly and I had dessert the Bourbon bread pudding was out of this world! The cashier was kind enough to split our check so we could each pay our share. This is a must go to if you want good food at a good price. The 50/50 limited menu for Wednesday's is 50% off with the El Cortez players card. Don't miss this hidden gem!!!

This is located inside the El Cortez hotel. ADULTS only: Under 21 not allowed. The Prime Rib was delicious! Our server Dennise was super helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is chill and modern-vintage. They did a great job renovating this space. Just got to put up with the smoke from the casino. We parked valet to make it easy.

I've never ate anything bad here! Food was 10/10. Great quality and reasonably priced as well! Prime rib was perfect, my dad also had the snow crab which they said gets caught Wednesday, flown in Thursday & served Friday/Saturday! Looked amazing! If you're in the area I recommend you try it out and if you're staying here, you're a fool to not get their breakfast to start your day!

We stopped in for lunch this past weekend and had such a nice time! I wasn't quite sure what to expect but it feels very old school Vegas inside but with a modern and classy touch. The dining area is spacious and clean, filled with classic photos and decor. There were about three other tables when we arrived and we were greeted + sat immediately. Our server, Vartan (or "Superman" as he referenced haha), was the only one working the restaurant floor when we dined in but did a solid job tending back and forth to all his tables. He was quick to bring over whatever we needed, ensured our orders were correct and consistently checked up on us throughout the meal. He seems like such a sweet and thoughtful guy, be sure to take care of him if he's your server. As for our lunch, we ordered the Cobb salad (extra chopped as you can see pictured), loco moco with egg whites, Atlantic salmon (to-go), the apple crumble pie and the cheesecake (to-go). I recommend all of these! The loco moco tasted like it was home cooked, good amount of salt and the gravy was savory. The apple crumble tasted like a blend of an apple pie + cobbler. If you don't like things too sweet, I'd ask for the strawberries on the side with the cheesecake. The portions were perfect and left enough for extras to take home. The plating with everything ordered was impressive as well; you could tell those in the kitchen took pride in the meals they served. One note, if you prefer to drink soft beverages or something other than water, be sure to check the menu to keep in mind prices for those drinks. Looking forward to the next time we stop on by. I'd like to try some of the bigger entree items for a dinner next time. If you're staying on property or just visiting downtown Las Vegas for the afternoon, I'd absolutely suggest you try out Siegel's 1941!

Came here for a quick bite since we are staying in at el Cortez this time. Wednesday night at 7pm. Wasn't as busy but after that a flock of people started to line up. Jordan is attentive and this place gets busy A lot of to go orders. Atmosphere is decent. Ordered the big island fried rice which is very tasty and as good by itself. Unfortunately the filet mignon wasn't available at the time. Switched to new york strip instead and ate half of it. Big portions it came out with fries. Tasty and delicious.

It's been some time eating at Siegel's 1941 so we decided to have a meal and check it out. I ordered the Prime Rib dinner and it was very good and thick which was not expecting to see. Really enjoyed the meal. Our server was very nice and attentive but did not get her name. We came in on 12-24-24 for dinner around 10pm before going out. We had a good time eating and having pleasant conversation with the staff being nice and professional. It is always consistently a good place to eat at the hotel.

I ordered the $19.99 Prime Rib dinner at 1941 Siegel's Restaurant in El Cortez. This was first time I visited. The waiter was very attentive. He came by my table fast to give me water. My dish came in 5 mins. The waiter came back 6 times to see how I was doing. This restaurant was not busy. Tourist only know Tony Roma's $11 Prime Rib dinner at Fremont Casino. So they line up to get that deal. I will come back to eat the prime rib again.
